daxtyn dean: seven months old

well we missed month six.

seven months now!

• 7 months breastfeeding & still going, with an occasional formula bottle.
• still prefer the right side!
• have two teeth.
• eating oatmeal & fruit in the morning and a veggie for dinner.
• can sit up unassisted.
• manuver yourself around in a circle, & roll everywhere.
• such a happy boy all the time, unless you're hungry.
• sit like a big boy in the grocery carts.
• love watching brother play & playing with him.
• a water baby. loved bear lake & the pool this last weekend! 

daxyn dean: four months

we had your 4 month appointment today.

you are now 13lbs 14oz (18%) and 26.5 inches long (95%)

such a long and very skinny boy! you are gettng quite heavy. getting chunky legs! you did really well with your shots today, only cried for a few seconds. but you hated the taste of the oral stuff. i can't believe it's already been 4 months since you arrived. you are such a fun little boy with the cutest personality! can't wait to watch you grow more:)

• 4 months  & still going strong!
• love to be nursed to sleep at night.
• you eat every 2 hours unless we're out & about or your sleeping we can make about 3-4. 
• you love to sleep in bed with momma.
• we're on our 3rd brand of diaper with you. still having blow outs with every kind :/
• you laugh a lot now!
• stare & smile at moma all the time!
• you love your standing bounce toy. you're so long you can already reach the bottom.
• you love to watch brother & he makes you laugh!
• starting to grab your toy on you carseat.
• you also try sitting up while you're in your carseat.

3 months old!

another month already?

still being a great baby. been spitting up and having blow outs quite a bit this past month though, so mommy has been taking it easy on the dairy to see if you're lactose like big brother & daddy.

 
• you're still breastfeeding great! eating every 2-3 hours.
• sleeping thru the night didn't last. you wake up about 2 times to eat.
• you're getting better about diaper changes. don't cry nearly as much.
• your hair is staying, except your bald spot in the back.
• you stay up longer during the day to hang out with mommy.
• you're talking & giggling.
• ticklish under your armpits when i take your shirts off.
• you have the cutest smile ever.
• you can now sit in the bumbo!

daxtyn: two months old

another month has flown by!

i can't believe it! you've been such a great baby & we love having you apart of the family! yesterday we actually got to go outside during the day on a walk! you loved the baby bjorn & passed out! we can't wait for it to be warmer to be able to take even more walks with brother!

we had your 2 month well check up today.

• you weigh 10 lbs 6 oz (13%) & 24 inches long (92%)
• you're still breastfeeding great! eating every 2-3 hours. we had our rough patch the passed week or so, but getting back on track!
• you're doing great sleeping at night. only waking up once, if at all! :)
• you still hate getting your diaper changed. i think it's just the cold wipes!
• you're eyes are definitely blue! daddy doesn't want to believe it, but they are!
• most of your hair is staying, getting a little bald spots on the back & sides where you lay, hope it all stays!
• you stay up for longer periods during the day, which i love!
• you're starting to talk & giggle.

one month old

a month has flown by!

i can't believe that you are already a month old today! time has definitely gone by way too fast once you arrived! adjusting to having two kids has definitely been a challenge on days, but i wouldn't trade it for anything. i am loving being at home with you boys!

• you weigh around 10 pounds & 22 inches.
• you're breastfeeding like a champ. (although you favor the right side) eating every 2-3 hours.
• you're doing great sleeping at night. only waking up only about 2 times. which mommy loves! :)
• you hate getting your diaper changed. you cry & cry! hopefully you stop pooping so much, cause that calls for lots of diaper changes!
• your hair is getting lighter day by day. & your eyes are lighter then your brothers. i think they're going blue!

i tried to take some pictures today. & i'll be taking them every month! so bare with my photography skills haha.
