black island farms

this morning we headed to black island farms with some friends. then nate's parents came out & met us and we went on the tractor ride for a pumpkin with them!

brevyn had a lot of fun. between the animals, slides, mazes, corn pit & tractor ride. it was a bit chilly out this morning though, i felt bad cause we don't have any gloves for brevyn, so jamie was nice and lended hers for brev. haha, he wasn't so sure about his big hands!

 went on the little train with brextyn. but he did not like it at all. as soon as it moved he was about ready to jump out. thank goodness for brextyn holding on to him real tight!

halloween is near!

i found a halloween wreath on pinterest and really wanted to make one. so, i set out to get all my supplies and started it last sunday. i finally finished it on monday. 

i'll say, i'm very happy with how it turned out. :)

halloween at work!

since my work is connected to the resthome, every year we do a halloween parade where the kids get to get in their costumes and go trick or treating! we do halloween class parties throughout the day. my class had donuts and juice for snack.. then we got in our costumes, went trick or treating then painted pumpkins!

then after nap, for snack we got jello, but it was in the shapes of hands, feet and brains! haha. with little surprises, like rats, spiders and that in it..

this was my first year doing this because last year we were on a cruise for halloween!
it was pretty fun, seeing all the kids in their different costumes. but man was it crazy (:
