californ-i-a trip.

well i am really behind. i'm now going to post about our california trip. from june!

hey, better late then never.

june 18 - june 25

we went to newport beach, california with the dye side for a family reunion. unfortunately nate's mom wasn't doing so great so her & kirk stayed behind, while we were in charge of chastin, mason & kayden. me, nate, brevyn, chastin & mason drove down while kayden rode down with the olmsteads. we headed out saturday, june 18 & drove down the primm valley where we stopped for the night. we stayed at buffalo bills & hung out till the next morning.

sunday morning we headed on our way to california! we left pretty early we we arrived to our condo around 10:30 & we couldn't check in till at least four so we drove around seeing where things were & walked around the condos to check everything out! of course we were the last to get into our condo just because we were the first to get there!

we really didn't ever swim in this pool a ton cause it was aways from our condo. there was a littler pool just up the hill from our condo that we went to a few times. it really wasn't all that warm while we were on vacation. we had lots of fun with all the cousins & the family.

we went to the beach a few times. we went down to crystal cove the first time with most all the family. all the boys loved playing in the waves. brevyn didn't like the water so much so me and him stayed out. but he loved playing in the sand.

we also visited fashion island, tons of stores, places to eat. we stopped and ate at the cheesecake factory. then we walked around a bit before we had to catch the bus back. we ended up going to build a bear & made brev a puppy. too bad he was asleep thru the whole process.

then one of the days some of the family were going to go out whale watching. so me & kayden went along with while the rest of the boys stayed back at the condo. unfortunately we missed our boat! so we all just walked around balboa island out on the pier, got shakes & fries from rubys. the waves were crazy big, so it was  fun to sit on the pier and watch the crazy guys riding the waves. one other crazy thing is we rode a auto ferry across the water. ha, it just wasn't right.

our plans were to head out sunday early morning for a whole days worth drive, but with a toddler, we didn't think that would go so well. so saturday afternoon we decided to head home & we drove to st george and stopped there for the night then drove home sunday morning.

 overall it was a fun trip. but i can speak for us all when i saw we missed kirk & meili!

California Trip

Well we headed to California on the night of the 5th. We stopped in Mesquite to eat/sleep and headed the rest of the way to California on Wednesday morning. That night once we got settled in our place we headed to P.F. Changs for some dinner :) We had a bit of a wait before we were seated so we walked around which was kind of like a Gateway?! With just a bunch of stores and such!

the next day we were off to Disneyland :) it was so fun and been awhile since I could remember being there. I used to go all the time with my dad’s side of the family, but it’s been some time!.Later that night me and Nate headed over to The Rainforest Café, where we got the “VOLCANO”! It was amazing :)

Then we headed back over to Disneyland to watch the Parade!

The next day we headed to Knott's Berry Farm! This place is really fun if you like Rollercoasters! I’d never been before so it was something new and all the rollercoasters were really fun and CRAZY!

On Saturday, my birthday :) we headed to the beach for some fun in the waves. Dillon, Mason and Chastin did a Baywatch run into the COLD water. I never got fully in but I did play in the waves a little bit. We buried Dillon and Kayden in the sand and I had fun writing in the sand.

Then Saturday night we met up with the Giles, Nate’s Aunts family for some pizza and Round table Pizza and then some mini golfing and laser tag!

We got home pretty late that night that it wasn’t technically my birthday anymore, but we had stopped for some cake and ice cream and I got sung happy birthday to!

Sunday was just a relaxing day for me, Nate, grandpa and meili. kirk and the boys headed to the Nascar race for the day. Me and Nate walked down to Downtown Disney and walked around the stores and bought Brev two shirts and me a shirt then went to Tiffy’s for dinner! Then Monday was our LONG drive back home. I was definitely glad brev wasn’t with us then cause it was a hard enough drive for me to be in the car for 12 hours! But we sure were excited to get home to Brevyn! So that was most of our exciting trip to California!
