one years old!

well me and nate both got friday off so we could do something with Brev for his birthday. It was a very warm day out so we headed down to the Hogle Zoo. Brev loved looking at all the animals and would point at everythng.

 this little boy got beyond spoiled. just as much if not more then he got for christmas! we had so many family and friends show up for the party. he had great grandma and grandpa bezoski, great grandma and grandpa dye, nanny and papa, grandma anne, great grandma and grandpa bambrough, grandpa jeff, great grandma and grandpa kelson, great grandpa ron there. talk about a lot of grandparents! and that was just the grandparents that came. plus everyone else!

 he wasnt' so sure about his cake at first. i had to shove his hand into it. then he was all for it!

overall it was a fantastic first birthday for the little man!

the party turned out wondeful, thanks for all that came to it!

i still can't believe i have a one year old!

halloween at work!

since my work is connected to the resthome, every year we do a halloween parade where the kids get to get in their costumes and go trick or treating! we do halloween class parties throughout the day. my class had donuts and juice for snack.. then we got in our costumes, went trick or treating then painted pumpkins!

then for lunch we got a surprise! instead of grilled cheese sandwiches.. we got

then after nap, for snack we got jello, but it was in the shapes of hands, feet and brains! haha. with little surprises, like rats, spiders and that in it..

this was my first year doing this because last year we were on a cruise for halloween!
it was pretty fun, seeing all the kids in their different costumes. but man was it crazy (:

Friday we had our Halloween carnival at work that we have every year. The kids can come dressed up in their costumes, play games and go thru the Spook Alley. I even got scared going thru the Spook Alley this year, and I helped set it up and knew what was going to be in it. But a chainsaw man will always get to me! ha.

Then on Saturday, Nate's Dad's family did a halloween party. We ate dinner then bobbed for apples! This is Nate, but BEFORE he stuck his head all the way under to try and get his apple!

And this is Nate, after he got his apple. Notice how wet his costume is also!
Then this is Dillon bobbing for his apple. He is the only one that really didn't have to go all the way under water, or use the side of the bucket to get his apple!
